NEDA is hosting a webinar on the Rice Tariffication Law (RTL) implementation — ‘Sa Rice Tariffication Law, Sambayanang Pilipino, Tuloy ang Panalo’ — on October 8, 2020 (Thursday) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM via Zoom.

The webinar aims to communicate the achievements made with the first year of implementing the RTL and how it benefits Filipino farmers, consumers, and the entire economy. In this event, the DA will provide updates on the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) and the support provided to rice farmers in this transition toward competitiveness. The DOF, NEDA, and DTI will touch on the enhanced financing for the agricultural sector, the RTL as an economic policy toward food security and economic growth, and the RTL as it is felt in the market.
