The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Office of Government of Viet Nam are delighted to extend an invitation to you to participate in the 6th ASEAN-OECD Good Regulatory Practice Network (GRPN) Meeting, which will be hosted virtually during a series of three streamlined webinars on 11 August 2020, (TBC) September 2020, (TBC) October 2020.
The GRPN is co-chaired by Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry and New Zealand’s Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, and its members comprise of senior government officials responsible for regulatory reforms. The GRPN webinar series will provide an opportunity for ASEAN and OECD countries to share experiences on how policymakers are responding to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and how they can pursue good regulatory practices. The webinar series benefit from organisational and technical support by the United Kingdom, and align with work underway by the ASEAN Secretariat.
All three webinars will be held digitally using Zoom and focus on the following topics:
Session 1: Reducing burdens to support better regulatory outcomes

Session 2: Leveraging digital tools for more agile regulatory policy making
Date: (TBC) late-September 2020
Session 3: Reforming regulatory systems to prepare for the future crises
Date: (TBC) late-October 2020
All three webinars are free of charge and would be appropriate for officials from agencies with an economic or regulatory policy focus. We kindly ask each country to note their official delegation to the three webinars. Since this is a digital event, we further welcome the opportunity for the delegations to invite additional relevant colleagues from their government and networks to observe each individual session as they see fit.
