The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) is conducting a research project titled, “Telecommuting Preferences of Government Workers in the Philippines” with funding from the Department of Science and Technology – National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) and has undergone a Technical Review by the NRCP Technical Review Panel for Social Sciences and received ethics approval from the Research Ethics Board of UPV.
The project aims to provide evidence-based information, which will be used in rationalizing policies and guidelines for alternative work arrangements in Philippine government institutions. The Civil Service Commission (CSC), through CSC Announcement No. 5, s. 2021, encourages government workers to participate in the online survey.
The Project Team is requesting support for the research project by answering the survey and disseminating the survey links to personnel occupying teaching, administrative, and staff positions (including regular, contractual, casual, and project-based).
The online survey and/or FGDs will significantly contribute to the crafting of a more responsive alternative work arrangement in the public sector. For convenience, there is a Save and Continue feature in the online survey that allows respondents to save progress and continue answering the questionnaire at a later time.
For questions or clarifications, contact the Project Leader, Dr. Rowena Paz L. Gelvezon, at email@example.com or through +63 9283927602.
