With the aim of securing an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification, the NEDA-VI conducted a Training-Workshop on Comprehensive Internal Audit and Comprehensive Audit Methodologies on January 10-12, 2018 at the Jalaur Conference Room, NEDA-VI Building, Iloilo City. The office’s internal auditors and personnel immersed in ISO audit principles and processes. Management is targeting the completion of ISO 9001:2015 internal and external audits by the third quarter this year.
Ms. Ana Marisse Dalawis of BCJA Training and Consultancy discussed the principles of internal quality audit and guided the staff in its applications through mock audit of the core processes enrolled by each division.
In her message, RD Ro-Ann A. Bacal reiterated that the ISO 9001:2015 certification is part of management’s effort to continuously strengthen and upgrade NEDA’s internal systems for a more efficient delivery of services. To ensure everyone’s participation in this effort, outputs generated through certified quality management systems will be part of the major final output and success indicators of the office and each staff.
On the other hand, OIC-ARD Gilberto A. Altura expressed NEDA’s appreciation to Ms. Dalawis and her firm for the effective engagement with the office and called on all employees to continuously be proactive individually and collectively in pursuit of the ISO certification.
