NEDA Western Visayas passed the ISO 9001 2015 surveillance audit conducted online last February 16, 2021, making it one of the few NEDA Regional Offices to be ISO-certified for three consecutive years.
The audit team of SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc., led by its Systems Auditor Ella Riza N. Ajero, announced the audit result on the management system processes and documentation, particularly on the core processes of socio-economic and physical planning and policy, monitoring and evaluation and support processes with no major nor minor non-conformance to the ISO standards.
The latest certification further affirms the commitment of the NEDA Regional Office 6 to fully adhere to international service standards and to continue to provide the needs and requirements of its stakeholders despite the numerous challenges brought by the pandemic.
The regional office was initially awarded the same certification on December 2018 with former Regional Director Ro-Ann A. Bacal as head of office. Under the new leadership of OIC-Regional Director Meylene C. Rosales, the regional office is determined to continue to work hard in order to achieve its vision of becoming a premier development coordinating agency with highly respected and competent staff functioning harmoniously for the region’s continuous progress.
